What closing does
We remove your name, email, phone, and photo, sign you out everywhere, and disconnect Stripe. That deletes the Stripe customer and Connect records we hold. The account cannot be used again.
We also delete saved addresses you never booked, and your sign-in history unless the sealed record below keeps it. An address a job used keeps its street with that job. Its notes, driveway drawing, and hazards are deleted.
If you drove or ran a company that did at least one job, we keep a sealed record for claims before we close the account: your legal name, your contact details when you closed, your ID check session reference (solo drivers), every time you signed in (time, IP, and device), every insurance document still on file (including ones you replaced in the last 2 years) with its carrier, policy number, and expiry, your truck plates, and the company you drove for. Only our team can see it. We delete it 2 years after your last job. A report or incident on one of your jobs keeps it longer: while the report is open, for 2 years after the report or incident, or until the end of a legal hold our team sets. A driver who leaves a company gets the same record. Otherwise we delete your insurance documents.
We cannot close the account while a job is still going. Finish the job first, then try again. A customer also cannot close while their report on a job is still open.
A driver or company also cannot close while a customer can still report a problem with a job they finished (7 days after it is done), or while a report is still open. The message in the app says when they can.
Closing a company signs everyone there out. A driver who only belongs to that company is closed too. A driver who also has their own account keeps that account. A driver can leave a company from Settings. Jobs they already finished stay attached to them.
Closing does not erase historical jobs, payments, job photos, chat messages, or reviews. Those stay as business records. To ask us to delete that remaining data, use data deletion.
Location from time off a job is deleted automatically after 90 days. Location recorded during a job stays with that job's record. See the Privacy Policy.
